4th-6th Grade - Cultural Heritage
The group discussed what makes them proud of their culture as Black girls and how they connect with their identity. They created a collage using magazines and other craft items to express their personal or family heritage and present it to the group.
7th-12th Grade - Career Exploration & Personal Branding
Nesters explored potential career paths, understood the importance of personal branding, and created a plan for their future professional success. We were honored to have our partners at A Chance to Succeed CEO & Founder speak with the nesters regarding their personal brand. This session was intended to support them in exploring new opportunities while building their confidence to speak highly of themselves.
